I have a friend who is a little more than a couple of weeks sober. I recommended Loosid to her since I've gained so much from this app. She made one single, short post and was bombarded with friend requests and chats from 99.9% males. Guys, I get you want to "help", but unless someone specifically says to message them, especially if you aren't the same gender, it's probably not the best idea. She deleted the app due to all of the constant, unwanted requests and messages. There should be some sort of way that they don't show up unless you have it specified. There's a dating side to this app. Use it for those reasons and take advantage of the people that are throwing themselves out there to be taken advantage of.

Agreed, the dating side is where that should go. It’s disappointing.
However, the A.A. program cannot be worked virtually so she is better off getting to in person meetings where she can get into a woman’s group.
A few crooked people scamming here too or trying. I look to see how many posts they've made. That sucks she had to get off the site bec it was so bad
