I'm about 2 weeks shy of my longest stretch off legal drugs and I can't believe how good I feel about my recovery.
I have accomplished so much this time and I don't want to stop.
I feel like this forward momentum is helping to project me farther than I could have ever thought possible.
I was a addict so desperate, I was going to to either die using or change everything. I couldn't see my life any way, other than "trying" to get high.
I moved across the state, left family and "friends" and moved to a city where I knew no one.
I have never looked back.
In the last 9 months, I have become a Certified Recovery Coach, gotten a job in a residential treatment facility, gotten my driver's license, a car and am enrolled in college for Addiction Studies.
I can't believe how fulfilling my life has become and the fire in my soul to help people.
I can't wait to see where my life will take me next.
