17 months sober

Officially 17 months sober as of today and I’m so proud of myself. To celebrate, I’m having pineapples slices, staying hydrated and exercising. :balloon:

Congratulations, man, keep going. Just know it gets more challenging as days go by problems arise, but so will YOU!!! Just keep pushing and continue to do what you are doing :100:

Awesome Mitchel!
Sounds like a festive celebration.
7 days from a year for me. I just might celebrate with something similar like a bowl of fresh fruit, thanks for the inspiration!

I’ve been bodybuilding and boxing for nearly 2 years. Adjusting my diet and exercising were the first two things I did since choosing sobriety. :boxing_glove:

Amen to that life is so much better when we don’t pick up a drink or drug

110%! I don’t do hard drugs but since I cut liquor cold turkey I’ve had clearer skin, less fatigue, don’t feel as sick, etc. 8/10 days I feel as good as I look

That is beautiful congratulations

…I love this, about reinvention-Paul.

I have yet to find a gym atmosphere which I like…while right, all for getting exercise.

When using, drinking - so many of us abused our own selves on so many levels.
Duh, right?

These days - after I hike or something like that, I feel that natural high and wonder why the eff I abused my own physical being with the heavy daily drinking, blech!!

Congratulations to you, Mitchel-keep rocking sobriety!:tada::partying_face:
