I started drinking at 8. Being sober feels like I'm back at the age of 8 and I'm scared. This is why I drank. I need a hug, but instead I'm in an airport looking afraid to find a bathroom to cry in. This is hard but worth it..

@sabrina459455 You're right where you need to be. The road of sobriety starts where you started drinking.. I was 8 years old when I started drinking. I got sober in 1988. So technically I'm a 46 y/o in a 62 y/o shell.
You can do this my friend. What you're feeling is normal in sobriety.
