Went to AA today and was loved on. It was my first time there, and I felt genuine support and care. They didn’t know me, but just glad that I was there. And that felt good. The nice lady running the meeting bought me the Big Book. I started reading it tonight and In each story you could have inserted my name in the scenario and it would have been accurate at some point. I think I’ll go back tomorrow, there’s definitely a lot of value in communing with people of the same struggle and affliction. Cheers!
