•I’m grateful for my health. Health is one of those things I seem to consistently take for granted while it’s good, and obsess over when it’s bad.
•A clean house. I spent the afternoon doing chores yesterday and it shows.
•The beautiful weather we’ve had these last couple of days.
•The way Barkley’s tail wags when I scratch his ears and kiss him between the eyes.
•Honey and ginger tea.
•Barkley noises.
•I’m on a journey of becoming. I don’t need to know what I’m becoming; I just need to know what I believe in. Belief shapes my journey.
•Sobriety gives me the opportunity to feel needed and trusted. By sharing the experiences that made me feel incompetent, unworthy, and useless, I’m able to help another person experience the same miracle I have.
•If I continue to do my AA homework well, I won’t slip when temptation inevitably comes.
•I get to see Brad pick up his 30 day chip this morning.
God, thank you for my life.
