The gratitude continues!!
•I’m grateful for Eastern wisdom and mindfulness and meditation practices.
•I’m grateful for Western wisdom and the practice of Stoicism.
•I had a deep, meaningful conversation with a friend yesterday. I tend to keep things light and funny, but I’m grateful to have the capacity for more serious discussions.
•One of my best friends comes home today.
•I have an immense capacity for growth. I’m grateful that I can grow and change.
•Even when I’m tired, I can appreciate all of life's gifts and remain grateful.
•I’m not different. I’m grateful Alcoholics Anonymous has taught me that these peculiar mental twists are not unique to me.
•I’m grateful for the awareness that my disease is still alive and well. Each day without a drink is simply training for the day when my disease will try and trick me into triggering the obsession.
•I’m grateful to be surrounded by love, both at home and out in the world.
•I’m grateful for a day full of limitless possibilities.
I pray that I may be grateful for the things I have received and do not deserve. I pray this attitude will make me truly humble.
