✨2/26/24 gratitude list✨

The gratitude continues!! :checkered_flag:

•I was able to make a visible impact on several of the men at my H&I last night. I’m so grateful to have left them with some hope.

•I’m grateful to be able to pause and let my emotions settle before I act.

•No matter how naughty Norman is, I never have to react with anger. Instead, I respond with love and encouragement.

•I feel rested and rejuvenated after three consecutive days off work.

•The universe continues to show me that things are rarely the way I perceive them to be, which is a good thing most of the time.

•I am grateful for the purpose and direction Alcoholics Anonymous has given me.

•I’m grateful for the quiet time I allow myself each morning and for the small, incremental spiritual growth that comes as a result.

•I’ve been relieved of my binge thinking. I used to think as if thinking was what kept me alive. Today, I’m able to quiet my mind and actually live.

•I’m grateful for a full fridge, and I’m sure my dogs are thankful for full bowls.

•I’m grateful that I know without a shadow of a doubt that I am an addict and an alcoholic and that I’ve finally found where I belong.

I pray that I may be grateful for the things I have received and do not deserve. I pray this attitude will make me truly humble.
