✨2/27/24 gratitude list✨

The gratitude continues!! :checkered_flag:

•Whenever I feel off, discouraged, or down on myself, I have friends who can see through the cloud of self-pity and remind me of how good my life actually is.

•I’m grateful that there are very few moods that some good sleep can’t improve.

•No matter what’s going on in my life, getting loaded rarely crosses my mind and never seriously.

•I’m so grateful that my mom decided to get me a puppy. Norman brings so much joy into even the most mundane moments of my life.

•I’m grateful that Barkley is healthy. Almost losing him last year has really made me appreciate my time with him.

•I’m grateful for all the men in recovery who call me just to check-in.

•I’m grateful for hope. It’s an experience that I was missing for several years while I struggled to find my way through the despair of addiction.

•I'm grateful for my childhood. Hearing so many harrowing stories in AA, I realize how lucky I am to have always known I was loved.

•I'm grateful I still have my freedom after years of doing things that could have easily taken it away.

•I'm grateful to still have my health after years of living in ways that could have compromised it.

I pray that I may be grateful for the things I have received and do not deserve. I pray this attitude will make me truly humble.
