Remember that is your disease trying to get in your head and make you think you can't enjoy fun. We believe in this idea in Our country and culture that drinking has to be apart of fun. Infact we as a whole from way back to Jesus. And for some sure they can drink and stop at that. But remember your life when you were drinking and as to why you stopped. I was told that the for some the longer sober that they start self sabotaging. I know I'm guilty of this. I was clean for 6+ years and I relapsed when I moved to Tennessee. I thought I'm in a whole new place. But infact it really doesn't matter where I'm at. I'm the common denominator every time. One leads to two and on and on til I'm here in sober living. In IOP. Thanking my higher power again. Meeting new people and laughing. Going together to meetings sharing my truth. Do you have a sponsor? Are you going to meetings. Remember work if you Work it. Most definitely keep sharing and coming back. I personally hated being vulnerable to strangers but The more I do the more I realize I got more to give. If you need a fun friend and want to laugh. Just reach out.

Thank you ,
I’m always hesitant to give advice. Most of the time I really don’t know what I’m doing. I just know I won’t drink or do drugs today. It’s really hard so I hope people never take it as advice. Just support
. Excited for a one year of sobriety.
