•My sobriety. Without my sobriety, I don’t have anything. It continues to be the single most important aspect of my life.
•I don’t have to drink today, no matter what. I’ve been given the freedom of choice.
•I’m getting better at setting and respecting my own boundaries.
•It’s Monday which means there is a new episode of Morbid.
•If I seek and do God’s will by living a spiritually principled life, then my reward will be sanity and emotional sobriety.
•My program has an unshakable foundation in my complete and total acceptance of step one.
•Early mornings in front of the “fireplace” with Barkley.
•I took time to meal prep and wash my sheets yesterday, so today I have food and clean sheets. Yesterday impacts today. It’s obvious when talking about simple, tangible things, but it applies to my thought life as well.
•I spend most days feeling happy and free of the fear.
•I finished reading my book last night.
God, thank you for my life.
