The gratitude continues!!
•I’m more capable of identifying when selfishness crops up now than at any other point in my life.
•I’m grateful that I’ve never had sleep problems.
•The dogs look so handsome with their fresh haircuts.
•I’m grateful to have tomorrow off work, which allows me to prepare for another job interview and hit one of my favorite meetings.
•My life is healthy and sane.
•Sobriety, stability, responsibility, meaning, satisfaction, joy. These are the marks of a spiritual awakening.
•Phone calls with other alcoholics always seem to set me straight when my mind is screwy.
•I have friends who check on me.
•I talk to both my sisters regularly. I’m very grateful to have them in my life.
•Both my parents are alive and healthy, and God willing, they will get to spend many years with their sober son.
I pray that I may be grateful for the things I have received and do not deserve. I pray this attitude will make me truly humble.
