2 weeks ago i was a broken man. My girl

2 weeks ago i was a broken man. My girl broke it off with me and i went on such a bender i blacked out for about two days. When i came around, my sobriety felt so small as to be hopeless. Thank you Jesus for giving me the strength to fight my way back!

I feel where you're coming from. I also binge drink. Today, once again I am trying again to kick this ugly addition. I believe you can beat this also.God is good even when we can't see it!!

Dammit! I fucked up again last night. Does anyone feel like if you don't drink it will be the last time you ever get the chance again? Like alchohol will be banished from the world tomorrow :upside_down_face:

I feel like I let down the only friend I have on here too

That's what my cravings feel like. I can't help it i just wanted to share

Sorry to hear that dear, through all what you have done for her she have ignored you because you are now broke dear .happy new year to you dear am Jennifer and you dear

@eric432206 we are glad you're here with us. As you trudge this road you will be faced with a lot of obstacles, obstacles that you would want to drink over however you won't.

The first step in sobriety is admitting to your inner most self that you're an alcoholic and that your life is unmanageable.

Second would be coming to believe that there is something out there, greater than you, that COULD restore you to sanity.

Once coming to fully believe in that greater power then turn your life over to that source greater than you as you understand him.

Next is making a list and checking it twice finding out where you've been naughty or nice to others.

Once completed with the list admit to it another human and your greater power that you believe in where you've been naughty or nice to others.

Be prepared to have that greater power remove all your naughtiness.

Then humbly ask him to remove it all.

And then make a list of all those people, places and things that you screwed over and be willing to right the wrong.

Once completed with the list, here is where we separate the MEN from the boi's, make direct amends to those people, places and things and keep your side of the street clean.

Every now and then throughout the day check yourself and make sure you didn't screw anyone over. If you did promptly go to them and admit where you were wrong.

While continually staying in contact with your greater power and meditating, listening, seeking a conscious contact with it as you understand it seeking only the knowledge of his will for you and the power to carry it out.

After completing all of the above and having a spiritual awakening as a result of these suggestions take your experience and share it with others.

You can do this.
