2 weeks sober today. Got some work done, finished a 3 mile run and getting ready to read a book. None of this would happen if I didn't decide to drop alcohol.

I'm finding staying productive keeps my mind off wanting to drink, makes me feel better overall and gets me outside of my own head.

This time around the drive to want to do what it takes to become better is there. Exercising more, reading more, getting things done around the house instead of procrastinating. I may even add journaling to my routine.

If there are any book readers out there, one book has been in the back of my mind through this and I believe is helping me keep that drive and stay busy. Its called Can't Hurt Me by David Goggins. I felt like I could achieve any goal while reading that book. Just a suggestion in case it might be of interest and could help.

Its great to have a clear head without regrets from the night before!
