I’m doing very well today, Thank you for asking.
Today, I was able to help a friend by house sitting for her three cats and a lizard. I journaled while I waited for my breakfast at a restaurant. I’m here on Loosid reading and writing hopefully to help others as much as it’s helping me. I said a few prayers this morning. Feeling very much at peace!

Man that is so good to hear! I too have been journaling but haven't been very consistent at it. What is keeping me from drinking? All the times that I have missed or forgotten due to a terrible habit, the relationships that I have ruined, not being able to be a top producer at work when I possess the tools to be the best (I'm still doing well but nowhere near where I should be), all the times that I could have been sober to enjoy a beautiful moment, all those missed opportunities have opened up my eyes. The hardest part of being sober? FEELING, the clarity that comes with it could be sniffling as I am full of regrets. But we can't look back, can only go forward from here. These were and are learning lessons. I feel good. The insomnia has subsided. Besides dealing with some brain fog, I feel fine but I cannot wait to feel GREAT. Sober life IS beautiful, indeed. Scary, but that's what makes life so interesting and worth living. And, like you, I am here to help those in need

Yes! Congratulation Arie! Keep it going! Things are a little crazy over here, grad school is kicking my butt, but grateful for my sobriety because I wouldn’t have the opportunity without it!

I find that the spiritual awakening that I’ve encountered so far working the steps of AA have been amazing! The spiritual world is real! I try to spend my days in this world. The material world isn’t as good as it could be.
Helping others is a must!
