Turns out the beach is proper awesome while sober. Have never truly appreciated what an incredible environment it is until now.

It really is. The turquoise of the ocean down here is absolutely mesmerizing! Enough to make me wonder what else I've experienced yet missed because of the alcohol.
It seems almost everything is different for me now that I’m sober. In a good way! I recently went to a museum and… wow… I could not be around portraits. They were all looking at me lol. I’m seeing things I never noticed before, some music sounds different and even some food tastes different. It’s incredible.
