Today I am 2 years sober, this is the longest I’ve been sober since I was 12. I don’t have a ton of family that gets how big this is since I was always very functional and they didn’t really see my drinking as a problem. (I have a sister still in active addiction that is not functional) but today I am celebrating my hard work. I got myself a cake and will continue to work… celebrate the small wins and the big wins will follow
