Today I am grateful for the band Phish - who I first saw live 25 years ago today. It was instant obsession for me. I had to know everything about them, track down every live recording and I see them as often as I can whenever I can wherever I can.
Their lead vocalist/guitarist Trey Anastasio has struggled like all of us. He was arrested and spent a year of his life in drug court. He now has well over a decade sober and is very vocal about his struggles and sobriety. He had what I wanted and he helps keep me inspired daily to stay sober and for that I am grateful
that’s an awesome band and you have a very intimate relationship with it. Very nice!
