Awesome. Make sure to use the resources they gave you in rehab. I have a lot of friends who didn’t and they are back in active addiction. Build a support system.

If you have an Alano club where you are its a great places to start! 29 days, that's beautiful! Congrats

Chrissy! Woohoo! Congrats! The meeting app is good to find meetings in your area.
If you can’t get to one I recommend the 12stepworkshop app. You can listen to some old timers discuss the big book and how to do the steps.

I use an app called pink cloud. It shows aa and NA meetings in the area you’re in.

And huge congratulations on 29 days!!

Meeting guide app!! The one with the chair its a great app for meetings all over

Chip tomorrow

Congratulations on your 29 days!

So now your out of rehab where it's easy to stay sober so what is your real plan? I know what I have to do as I'm a chronic alcoholic and when I put any form of alcohol which in my case is iv fentanyl in me, I cannot stop

So I can only share what has worked for me the last eight months.. I went into a halfway house that is very structured. I got a sponsor and I called him one or two times a day. Had to run all thoughts, ideas, and plans by him. He reads paragraph by paragraph of the big book and really explains it to me. I go to a meeting every day. I'm about to sponsor others which is essential if you plan on staying sober. I take a meeting into a detox facility every week. One of the hardest things to do is to make my sobriety my number one priority.

Nobody ever told me in rehab and detox that it takes alot of work to stay sober. However if I just spend a fraction of my time working on sobriety that I did in my addiction. Then I still only have a chance of staying sober. Our brain always tells us were better, can use responsibly, and just use once, make and use any excuse. All lies.. cuz I can never do one, a trigger for me is every day of the week. I could be happy, sad, mad, ok - it doesn't matter. I've proven over and over I cannot be normal and use like others. So that's my truth. No sugar coating what it takes. Be all in. Try to do whatever you have to in order to be sober. But staying sober in real life is the hard part.

I live in Spokane

I actually already got it the day I left

Congrats on your sobriety!! Keep using the tools they gave you in treatment, and go to meetings. Meetings help me feel welcomed and of service. I use the pink cloud app to find meetings around me.

Awesome job :clap:t5:
