Another birthday has come and gone and I still don’t have a drink in my hand. Nor will I be hungover tomorrow. Not the best of weekends, but it was one I’ll remember. I’ll take the good AND the bad if that means not drinking and feeling the feels!

I turned 48 on the 9th in a men’s sober living house. I would say it was a good day, week, or even month. But I didn’t drink or fix. I moved in here because I injure that if I wasn’t able to stay sober while going through what I’ve been going through that I would use my birthday as an excuse or reason to go off the rails. I knew if I did that I may not have made it back. I’m grateful I made to another birthday. I’m grateful you did to
