The gratitude I feel today is a direct result of the work I did yesterday.
•I’m grateful for the capacity to learn and grow.
•Acceptance that I’ll never have spiritual perfection means a lifetime of growth and learning.
•I’m grateful for meaningful relationships in my personal and professional lives.
•Norman is learning. He’s more intelligent and better behaved every day. I’m grateful for his capacity to learn and grow.
•I’m grateful for little reminders of how life used to be. I was so isolated, even from those closest to me. I am alive again.
•I’m grateful for cute little handmade gifts from Mom. I’m so blessed to have been born into this family.
•I’m grateful that I can make mistakes. Today’s reading reminds me that I will make mistakes, and that’s okay, provided I admit them and work to correct them.
•I’m grateful for the time I can spend at home during Norman’s formative years and Barkley’s twilight years.
•I’m grateful that sleep isn’t something I seem to ever struggle with. I’m blessed to be generally well-rested.
•I’m grateful for this practice that keeps me grounded and right-sized.
I pray that I may be grateful for the things I have received and do not deserve. I pray this attitude will make me truly humble.
