The gratitude I feel today is a direct result of the work I did yesterday.
•I’m grateful for Karli, who came over and helped me meal prep yesterday.
•I’m grateful for the perspective I get from talking sponsees through their problems.
•I’m grateful for this knee pain, which is a good reminder to honor and respect my body by taking care of it and listening to its limitations.
•I’m grateful for a productive week of interviews. I did the work, and now the rest is out of my hands.
•I’m grateful for an insightful meditation this morning. Typically, my mind is either silent or racing. This morning, it felt inspired.
•I’m grateful for friends who feel like family.
•I’m grateful that I always have a move to make, even if that move is to find acceptance for the way things are.
•I’m grateful that my friend Christian will be getting out of jail soon and will finally be able to leave all of the drama of his old life behind.
•I’m grateful for my dogs. I always feel safe and loved when I’m home with them.
•My problems have ceased being problems. I just have to ask whether acceptance — or change — is required.
I pray that I may be grateful for the things I have received and do not deserve. I pray this attitude will make me truly humble.
