The gratitude I feel today is a direct result of the work I did yesterday.
•I’m grateful for calm, quiet mornings with my dogs and the birds outside my window.
•I’m grateful for Epsom salts and hot baths.
•I’m grateful for ibuprofen.
•I’m grateful for a great rest day yesterday and a good night's sleep last night.
•I’m grateful that I woke up so full of gratitude and lust for life. I have nothing spectacular planned, but I’m so excited to be alive and sober.
•I’m grateful that somewhere along the way, I realized that I’m not meant to know or understand everything, and I’ve become okay with that. My life operates largely on faith.
•I’m grateful that sobriety has given me the tools to cultivate that quiet intelligence within us all.
•I’m grateful that it has been a long time since I have craved chaos. I actively protect my peace and serenity.
•I’m grateful for all the love and excitement I feel when I think towards the future.
•I’m grateful for my friends and family, who are a never-ending source of love and support.
I pray that I may be grateful for the things I have received and do not deserve. I pray this attitude will make me truly humble.
