The gratitude I feel today is a direct result of the work I did yesterday.
•I’m grateful that my throat doesn’t hurt as bad as when I woke up this morning.
•I’m grateful for coughing drops and hot coffee.
•Even though there is never a good time to be sick, I’m grateful that this cold hit me right at the beginning of some time off from work.
•I have two job interviews today, and while I don’t feel prepared for either, I know I will do my best and leave the results up to God (and the recruiters
).
•Even on my worst days, I am a good dog dad. Barkley and Norman are always loved and cared for.
•I'm grateful that even the smallest amount of willingness to surrender my will transforms my worries into serenity.
•I’m grateful that prayer and meditation allow me to meet the world with balance.
•By acknowledging that I only control my actions and reactions, not the outcomes, I've gained more control over my internal world.
•I’m grateful for a morning routine that I can practice even when sick.
•I’m grateful to have a life that is mostly free from guilt and shame. I live a life that I am proud to share with others.
I pray that I may be grateful for the things I have received and do not deserve. I pray this attitude will make me truly humble.
