3 days from alcohol I think this wknd is going

3 days from alcohol I think this wknd is going to be hard for me. I'm falling apart mentally and physically. Last wknd scared me a lot. I don't have much for support (sister & daughter) have turned their backs on me again. I'm in a long term relationship not sure how good it is for me anymore, may be causing more harm than good. I still have my job but even they stay far away from me. :sleepy:

I am downloading all of these apps and looking for ways to keep myself calm and focused I cannot go back to this

Iā€™m sorry youā€™re going through this. In the beginning for me it was all about staying as busy as I possibly could. Staying away from things that would trigger me to want to drink/use. Itā€™s a very challenging process but it does get easier. Going for long walks has a way of resetting your brain and giving you a more positive outlook. Definitely hit up some meetings. Being around people that are going through what you are or have been through helps a lot. Hang in there
Much peace to youļæ¼ļæ¼

Sounds like the bottom is fast approaching. Detoxing can be dangerousā€¦ if you feel real sick please go to an ER. They can help and monitor you. If you are not in a program or havenā€™t been to a meeting I would fully recommend it. AA worked for me. Right now, no one else matters but YOU. Your sobriety is the most important thing to focus on. You can fix the relationships later. The steps are in order for a reason. The apps ā€œin the roomsā€ or ā€œmeeting guideā€ are free and give you the locations and times for meetings near you. Good luck, I hope you find peace.

Hey Marci
Last weekend was my first sober weekend and it was fantastic. I can actually do good bbq without a beer in my hand. Got my freshwater fishing license and went kayak fishing with two kids at 7 am. It was amazing
