I took a similar path years ago.
Was 8 months sober with no help and then, seemingly out of nowhere, a 4 month drunk spree.
I then decided to get all the help I could and I've never had to go back.
That was in 2014.
You can do this! (But there is lots of help available if you, like me, choose it)
