I never thought it would be possible for a musician like me to get sober. I’ve been in and out of bars and venues since I was 17 years old. It absolutely sucks sitting with your feelings and trauma, but I’ve gotten through the hard stuff and I’m looking forward to getting 1 year sober. 9 more months to go 
Stay strong and keep ya head up, if I can do it, you can too
