Monday marks three years sober for me and I want to do something special, but I don’t know what. Does anybody have any ideas?

What did you always want to do? Do it in small steps. Make small progress towards your goals now that you're sober.

I’m already doing that lol. I just started grad school and don’t really have any other goals beyond finishing grad school. I was thinking like a party or something.

Maybe a self care weekend? Get a massage, eat your favorite meal, get your nails and hair done…and get to a meeting and pick up a 3 year medallion if AA is your thing. Either way, congratulations on 3 years

I say treat self to a nice meal, then eat lots of chocolate. Then go get some ice cream and thank your HP!

Treat yourself to something...try to take this suggestion in moderation though

Go out for a nice dinner.
Collect a chip at your home group if that applies.
It’s proof to the newcomer that the program works.

Three years is awesome! Not to be a party pooper, but I would wait until Monday to figure that out. One day at a time.
Oh congrats. Well treat yourself and have fun. Maybe take a train to a new place and enjoy the sights?
Congrats Ashley!! I agree with the suggestions above to do a self-care day. Massage, mani/pedi, maybe a facial, celebrate with a friend or family with a nice dinner.
