30 Key Sobriety Concepts

  1. Not worrying about getting your way while working reasonably toward personal goals..
  2. Not worrying about what others think about you.
  3. Not measuring yourself.
  4. Not worrying about being smart.
  5. Finding something positive particularly during challenging moments..
  6. Accepting change.
  7. Having faith in an ultimate justice but not expecting that life will always be fair..
  8. Forgiving yourself.
  9. Believing you will experience eternal peace after your body dies.
  10. Knowing pain will pass.
  11. Being grateful.
  12. Having perspective.
  13. Eliminating fear but recognizing situations which warrant caution.
  14. Making plans but not worrying about the results. Not controlling situations and others.
  15. Not letting others control you by creating healthy boundaries and avoiding toxic relationships..
  16. Trying to act out of love but not controlling situations and others..
  17. Not needing to get everything done while not procrastinating.
  18. Trying to do activities that promote physical, mental, spiritual and emotional balance.
  19. Having structure yet maintaining flexibility.
  20. Knowing that you are loved by something or someone unconditionally.
  21. Having an appropriate sense of humor by laughing at confusing situations rather than crying over them by seeing life as a comedy rather than a tragedy.
  22. Not letting our emotions get us into trouble.
  23. Distinguishing between wants and needs.
  24. Not letting winning be the most important thing.
  25. Connecting with someone else who is in trying to maintain serenity.
  26. Connecting with a power that helps me maintain serenity.
  27. Practicing spiritual principles like acceptance, truth, forgiveness, unselfishness, love, patience, and understanding rather than resentment, greed, and prejudice.
  28. Accepting that you make mistakes while recognizing character defects and seeking to make amends in defective behavior.
  29. Trying to live in the present moment without fearing the future and regretting the past.

TODO: TO DO: What would you add to or eliminate from the list? Make sure you add "DON'T PICK UP THE FIRST DRUG." Print out this list and keep it where you can see it. Then, each day, try to practice these principles to the best of your ability.

I wanted to share with you my thoughts today I was with my friend wanted to cuddle with him he said will theses 2 big dogs are my babies they were sleeping in the middle of us couldn't do anything he said if you don't like it then you can go home. It was late I just left frustrated went on the couch.

Hi I just came back from my friend's place. I was so upset with him. This is what I wrote to him
I need some advice to
Will be and stay only friends. You saying I could leave at 2am in the morning wasn't cool. Saying that and almost kicking me out of your house. I'm not putting myself in jeperty that situatiowherere I have no ware to goYou'reur not easy to talk . You want everything you're watooto.
Especially you choose your own animals then to cuddle watch TV with me not cool. You need to figure out what you want and need. But we can be friends only.
What you did was so wrong taking all my birth control pills out from watching me from your camera that's messed up. I'm ang t that you will never make me hold me down.
