Always remember it takes 30 minutes for a urge to pass. In 30 minutes find something like a shower, walking, swimming, reading extra to help replace the feeling. I've tried it an it really helps.

Urges don’t get you using. It’s how you cope with them that does. Good for you. Keep up that battle. You winning.

I agree an thank you. I learned this from I.O.P thought I give it a try. Some days I don't fallow threw but it's something to keep in mind
The craving/urge to use is what triggers the temptation or desire to make the decision to use again. Working on behavior change and the thought process, through CBT, is how one learns to better manage that, ultimately making it easier to pass on the urge to use again. If a person can adjust their thought processing for 15-30 minutes when an urge comes up, there’s a better chance to not fall into that trap.
