309 days. Now suffocating in everything I used to numb away. The guilt and shame are killing me.

I understand all too well. You're not alone.
Shame is heaviest right before you finally let go of the old baggage. You are 309 days away from the person who ran from life, and that counts for everything. Call another woman in recovery, get it out of your head, and keep putting distance between you and that old life. You can outlast this feeling. Dm anytime 🫶

Jasmin, it’s always darkest before the dawn.
I think just about all of us in recovery felt tons of shame. Being sober and living right redeems us.
I found that the 12 steps was and still is the biggest game changer!
