Keep up the good work Jennifer! You will have a year soon! It’s a huge milestone! Stay focused on your steps. The next phase of sobriety is going to be about giving what you were giving back to the newcomer. Keep an open mind. For me it’s about listening at a meeting. Sharing my experiences with the Program and my sobriety. Helping those that want sobriety and planting the seed in those who still struggle.
A couple of the hardest months I’ve had in sobriety were month 11 and 12. I wanted that coin so freakin bad. lol I was definitely not living 24 at a time. Makes it tough. Stay in today and the next thing you know you will be there. But I know. That year is a really really big deal. Enjoy the celebration when you get there!

Ha I ask people if they know what that little pocket in jeans is for. Some of them act all smart and say that it’s a watch pocket. I’m like, “Nope. It’s an AA coin pocket!”
