32 days sober. Not sure how I feel about that

32 days is tremendous! Do you feel wobbly in your commitment to remaining sober? Don’t know your situation.

Thankyou. No at this point no but knowing and accepting I'll never be out of the woods is alot to process. But I'm glad that I recognize that and that I'm aware of it.

Yes, that’s important. I have tried and failed to get sober for the last ten years. It took the gift of desperation to change my thinking this time around. Now i think..i never have to feel that bad again! It’s liberating. Just don’t drink or use… Rooting for you.

My day 32 is tomorrow just fyi. There is a subtle but REALLY important truth IMHO: The past and future don’t exist. There is only now, and that’s all there will ever be. If your not drinking or drugging now, you’re good.

Whether you’ve got 32 days or 32 years, it’s all about living life one day at a time. Not always easy, but those days add up fast and then, hopefully, it becomes more about the quality of the days and not the number.
