✨4/23/24 gratitude list✨

The gratitude I feel today is a direct result of the work I did yesterday.

•I’m grateful for a full life.

•I’m grateful for Karli and all of her support.

•I’m grateful that thus far, I’ve kept my impulsiveness and materialism at bay while car shopping.

•I’m grateful that I got better sleep last night. The dogs decided midnight was a good time to get rambunctious, but I still did okay.

•I’m grateful for the massive shift in perspective I’ve gained through my journey to and in sobriety. I now know that peace and happiness are inside jobs. They are actions more than feelings.

•I'm grateful for this exciting transitional period in my life, filled with seemingly limitless possibilities for the future.

•I’m grateful for another day above ground.

•I’m grateful for today’s meditation, which reminds me that new spiritual growth comes naturally from cooperation with God.

•I’m grateful for the feeling I get when I am honest in all my affairs. People appreciate honesty, even when it’s not the answer they want.

•I’m grateful to have been able to send several “sorry, I’m no longer looking” emails to prospective employers who were a little too late getting back to me.

Self-will is as fragile as fine china. We need to be more like Tupperware than fine china — we’ll last longer and be invited to more dinner parties.
