✨4/26/23 gratitude list✨

Today I’m not feeling very grateful, which makes this list all the more necessary.

•I’m grateful that I can give myself grace when I’m not feeling 100%.

•I’m grateful for food. I can use it as a crutch when I’m having an off day.

•I’m grateful for Barkley, my paw prince. He doesn’t talk much, and sometimes that’s exactly what I need.

•I’m grateful that Barkley begrudgingly allowed me to sleep until 7:30.

•I’m grateful for Tylenol and ibuprofen. Had you asked me a couple of years ago, I would have sworn to you that they didn’t actually work.

•I’m grateful for my friends, who don’t expect me to be perfect.

•I’m grateful for this program, which has taught me restraint of pen and tongue.

•I’m grateful that even on my worst days, I don’t have to drink or use.

•I’m grateful that I have some time off from school that I can use to let my wrist heal, even if that’s not how I wanted to spend it.

•I’m grateful for my access to medical care.

God, thank you for my life.
