Today I’m grateful for so many things, including:
•My wrist seems to be getting better fairly quickly.
•I can still work out my legs with a sprained wrist.
•The ability to accept things as they are and trust in God’s plan.
•After a full year of kissing Barkley on his nose this morning, he kissed mine.
•Medicaid.
•Meeting with a group of my closest guy friends and exploring what it means to express our masculinity honestly and productively.
•The ability to be open, honest, and vulnerable.
•Reminders that it’s not only okay but necessary and reasonable to take time to withdraw and rest for renewed strength.
•As I strengthen my intuition through practice, I understand what I need more and less of in my life.
•I’m more than reasonably happy most of the time. I remember a time when I didn’t trust or believe happy people.
God, thank you for my life.
