✨4/27/24 gratitude list✨

The gratitude I feel today is a direct result of the work I did yesterday.

•I’m grateful to have a baseline that allows me to recognize when I’m off-center.

•I’m grateful for emotional stability.

•I’m grateful for routines that keep me on the path of continued growth.

•I’m grateful for all the men who have done this before me and who teach me not only how to stay sober but how to live a happy, useful life.

•I’m grateful for morning instrumental music.

•I’m grateful for the opportunity to care for Barkley in his old age. He’s carried me through so much. I’m blessed to have such a great dog.

•I’m grateful that Norman will never have to see me drink or use. I can raise him with love and consistency.

•I'm grateful for my freedom. The reckless things I did while drinking and using could have easily cost me that.

•I’m grateful that I’ve been able to live in the same place for so long. My house has truly become a home.

•I'm grateful for my experience with the first step, which ensures that a drink or drug never seems like a good idea.

The root of joy is gratefulness.
