✨4/28/24 gratitude list✨

The gratitude I feel today is a direct result of the work I did yesterday.

•I’m grateful for the way both my dogs show me love. The stares, the cuddles, the climbing me like a human ladder. I know I am loved.

•I’m grateful to love and accept myself more now than at any other point in my life.

•I’m grateful for the Big Book of Alcoholics Anonymous.

•I’m grateful for cooler mornings when I can still get the dogs out for a walk before it gets too hot.

•I’m grateful to be sober and present enough to notice when my moods and feelings shift.

•I’m grateful that faith in something bigger than myself allows me to relax a bit, knowing I’ll be okay no matter what.

•I’m grateful to spend time with my best friends every day.

•I’m grateful for routines that help me be consistent and a schedule that allows me to be flexible.

•I’m grateful that I don’t have kids. Thank God I only have myself and the dogs to care for.

•I’m grateful I have my problems rather than anybody else’s.

The root of joy is gratefulness.
