The gratitude I feel today is a direct result of the work I did yesterday.
•I’m grateful for the spiritual principles that I try to let guide my thoughts and actions.
•I’m grateful for my health. It seems like I’ve been getting sick a lot lately (allergies!!), but I’m healthy more often than not.
•I'm grateful for the chance to discuss spirituality with other men and proudly embrace my faith instead of feeling weak or ashamed.
•I’m grateful that I feel relatively well-rested despite my limited sleep and sore throat.
•I’m grateful that I only have one more shift left at OrangeTheory. I’ll miss the people, but not the hours (or the pay).
•I'm grateful for the opportunity to work on a complete fear inventory in sobriety with a friend and mentor. It's a process I haven't fully explored yet, and I'm looking forward to the insights it will bring.
•I'm grateful for this simple test to discern if I'm following my will or God's will: "Who would I need to lie to about this?"
•I’m grateful for the dog Norman has become. He tries so hard to be good, and I appreciate his personality.
•I'm grateful for Barkley and Karli, who are stable and consistent sources of goodness and love in my life. I know I can always rely on them.
•I’m so grateful to be alive and sober to enjoy the highs and lows that life has to offer.
The root of joy is gratefulness.
