4 months and 8 days sober today. I also plan on being nicotine free by new years but by how I'm going it should be sooner. I plan on being a great role model for my fiancée's kids. To love them and her right with out any substances. Landed a great job doing foundation work as I wait for the laborers union to open up. I get my gun and concealed permit back today. I've been working on my cars doing bearing and CV axles and upgrading the speakers. Just been working on switching my mind from thinking about what I want to what I need. I am truly happy I found a love that has stuck with me throughout this journey as her and I walk hand in hand to be better for are selfs, each other, the kids and are families.

Keep going King. Just a little food for thought. Something that helped me out a lot in the early days was realizing that I was always a talker (not saying you are) I was always talking about what I was going to do the next step. I was going to take.. this big leap forward. When I really started gaining ground, I had switched my mentality from what I was going to do and I started focusing on what I am doing right now saying things like “I am a great role model for my fiancé’s kids.” “ I did switch my thinking from what I want to what I need“ is going to empower you in a way that no room; no book can really explain to you how to do, however important they are. YOU ARE ALREADY THAT GUY.
