4 months sober tomorrow! Things are still tough! Credit is still pretty shitty, family is not great (they aren’t great people to begin with so it’s hard to have them around) Recovery house living is well.. recovery house living! Lol. BUT I have a job that I love, a huge support network in AA, a phenomenal sponsor, and a true love and relationship with god. Some days are still very hard, but I am learning to let go of what I can’t control. I am learning to have faith in god to guide me and bless me as long as I’m doing the next right thing! It’s a beautiful, chaotic, messy, confusing, liberating, and fulfilling life! Blessed to have another day. Thanks for being on this beautiful journey with me, my fellow warriors!

Almost 5 months myself and for the first time in my life actually on a mission to dig deep and fix the things deep within myself that lead to the addictions and bad habits! Something called recovery and not just sobriety! I love this post! We are warriors fighting against ourselves!

Congrats on the new you. I found a program that helps build credit that really works well. Got me into the 700’s within a year. I had no credit or bad credit. It’s called “kickoff”. Costs you like 15 bucks a month. At the end of a year it gives you back 120 dollars. You just spend 15 bucks a month. Don’t pay it all off in one big chunk. Do the 15 a month for a year and you’ll have good credit. It really works. I’m now close to 730 with 5 credit cards. Stupid world tho, giving the likes of me credit. Lol. I never bought into the “credit” stuff my whole life. Always preferred owning what I have. Think this credit stuff can be an addiction actually.
