48 and new to the group. I grew up like many people here I’m sure… both sides of the family were heavy drinkers, and made it look so fun. I know now, that was not the case at all. I lost my mom in 2014, and wife in 2020. I am a year into my sobriety and I just want to show my two sons ( 18 and 21 ) that there is a better way than what I was shown. I probably feel more presssure and feel more driven to stay sober than ever, because I am all they have. I want my kids to have a steady and healthy support. Thanks for listening😊
