✨5/1/24 gratitude list✨

The gratitude I feel today is a direct result of the work I did yesterday.

•I’m grateful that despite Norman’s best efforts, I still slept well last night.

•I’m grateful that I won’t need to wake up at 3:30 AM any time soon.

•I’m grateful for my new haircut.

•I’m grateful to have a boss who is both professional and fun and who shares a similar past with me.

•I am grateful for the tools to handle any challenges in my life, knowing that I create most of them in my head anyway.

•I am grateful for my two big, healthy dogs. I’m blessed that they’re as healthy as they are. They bring so much joy to my life and so few problems.

•I'm grateful for the suffering that led me to AA. While I don't want to experience it again, it's given me confidence that I can handle almost anything.

•I remember how challenging it was to find the right medication. I am grateful to have maintained a stable medication routine for over two years.

•I’m grateful for people who make my life more comfortable by doing tasks I’d rather not do. Like landscapers, for instance. Some of these weeds in my backyard are literally waist-high.

•I am grateful that each year my dreams get bigger, and yet every day, I feel one step closer to achieving them.

The root of joy is gratefulness
