If I just look around me, I have so much to be grateful for.
•I’m grateful for my mom, who has always loved and cared for me, even when I couldn’t love or care for myself.
•I respect, accept, and love myself.
•For the third Mother’s Day in a row, my mom doesn’t need to worry about where I am or what I’m doing.
•Everything that I experience is a part of my learning process.
•The more active I am in AA, the more things roll off my shoulders.
•Things will happen outside my control, which is just a natural part of life.
•Norman had some really big dreams last night, which was apparent from his snores and twitches.
•I am a part of something much bigger than myself.
•Karli comes back today. She’s been missed.
•Sobriety and this spiritual way of life have restored much of my self-worth.
Happy Mother’s Day and thank you for being a part of my recovery!
