The international womens meeting.
Its an AA meeting for women that runs 24/7 so i can hop on at any point of the day or night. Whenever im feeling down or lonely. Or even having cravings. I jump on sometimes for 5 minutes or sometimes over an hour. I mainly listen but an hoping in time ill have thw courage to share too. -
Early mornings.
I love being up before the sun. I love watching it rise on a morning walk with my dog. I enjoy the stillness and peacfulness of being up before most people and the quietness of the house before my family is up. -
Prayer.
I have some great prayer apps and love to start each morning with prayer and reflecting. I like to connect with my higher power to start the day in a positive state of mind and to feel grounded before I set out into the world which can lead me astray. -
The breath.
I am thankful i can breathe but also that ive learnt to use my breath as a tool in hard life situations or when faced with difficult emotions. My breath is always with me and when i bring my attention back to my breath i can slow things down and gather my thoughts and compose myself. -
The gym.
Im thankful i joined the gym 2 weeks ago and am using exercise to face my fears with social anxiety. I am exercising to release positive hormones in my body that make me feel happier and more relaxed the rest of the day. I am watching my body and mind strengthen with each session and setting goals helps me feel productive and useful.
