Today is my 5 year Soberversary! I was consumed by alcohol and grief, after my pup of 14 years crossed The Rainbow Bridge. Just shy of 1 year of her passing, my father was admitted to the hospital for something that the doctor’s couldn’t figure out. My drinking doubled that week. July 13th, my daddy passed away. The next day I was admitted to the hospital for 17 days, which started my journey of sobriety 🥹
