54 days sober!! Feeling pretty great! Going to get some christmas decor up today. Been sorta slacking, normally i start getting them up the day after Thanksgiving but that was a big ordeal from the exhausting holiday in which i host and cook everything for every holiday! Wouldnt change it for the world, and being sober i was really able to enjoy it. Yea it was also kinda fun being drunk most them as well but i like the sober me better. I think the hardest holiday to be sober for me is going to be st. Patrick's day seeing im irish and love cooking and hosting that day!

I'm only like 1/8 Irish. Let's show 'em that we can be Irish, sober, and have tons of fun on St. Patrick's Day. We are not obligated to drink because we're Irish.

I'm 50% irish and 50% native American sooo lol both known for being heavy drinkers! I mean I stayed sober for all 3 of my pregnancies and pretty much all of them fell on holidays. I think I and we will be ok and sober for these holidays!
I totally get what you're saying. My dad's mom family is Irish, German, and Native American. My dad's dad also has Irish ancestry. I totally am aware of the drinking culture. I also grew up in WI. It's pretty wild out there. 
That's amazing you stayed sober during pregnancies.
...and since you're hosting: tell your guest no alcohol. I'm sure you're going to be an amazing host.
