I have so much to be grateful for if I just take a moment to look around.
•I have a busy day doing a job that I love.
•I feel seen and heard by my boss.
•I have friends who are willing to help me with the dogs today.
•My chest is more sore than usual. I think that means my new strategy in the gym is working.
•The prevailing feeling when things don’t go my way is that everything will be okay.
•This practice of gratitude seems to keep me from slipping into self-pity.
•New guys at meetings who remind me what’s waiting for me if I ever decide to pick up a drink or a drug.
•I have two dogs who love me unconditionally with every fiber of their being.
•Karli is such a helpful and happy influence in my life.
•I look forward to meetings. I can’t remember the last time they felt like a chore.
