Hey Debbie, how was your day and all that you did? And how are you coping continuing your sobriety?

Hi there! Since I posted this, the last week has gone really well! It had its moments with some horrific weather that prohibited me from going to a few meetings, but other than that, I've just been grateful that my power didn't go out, like so many in the area, and that I didn't have to shovel. Thank actual God for my landlord!! This body just can't do those things anymore..
Anyway, like I mentioned I've really been upping my AA meeting attendance to nurture and sustain my sobriety. I used to think they were just some sort of obligatory part of recovery, but obviously, I've realized what a huge resource they are for building a sober mind, not just a sober body. It's really helped tremendously. Next, I would say, has been maintaining my close relationship with God. Without that, I tend to go wayward and forget to find gratitude and serenity in so much of what he offers. I am also blessed with having an amazing support community and family, so I've really got all the tools necessary to stay sober. Now I just have to keep using them and take one day at a time. That's all I can do... :slightly_smiling_face::pray:
