I am soooooo grateful for the love, support, community and kindness that have helped me achieve these 60 days of continued sobriety. And of course, I thank God for always being there and never leaving my side, no matter what condition I've been in. To another 24...

Way to go Debbie!!! 60 days is huge be proud!!!
Congratulations
Thank you so much, Teresa!!
Thank you Bryan!!
What your secret??
Honestly, I really ramped up my meetings. And got a sponsor that aligns more with my personality and therefore I actually use her for the support and guidance she's meant for. I usually just keep quiet and think I need to muscle through on my own, but the only way I've found any success is to share those times when I'm struggling or I see an event coming up that would generally put my sobriety at risk (like traveling over the holidays with my 80yo mother and 10yo son, which I just did successfully). Don't get me wrong, I've relapsed since I started this journey last February, but leaning into God and the supports I have in place, are the true components to my continued sobriety. And more meetings. Did I mention meetings?
Reach out if you feel like you need help. It'll be there for you.
That is awesome, congrats!
Males have trouble expressing themselves and looking vulnerable no worries i figure it out
Honestly, I have trouble expressing my feelings too. It's worth the risk, though. Trust me. Find someone you trust. Hit up some meetings and you'll see that folks are out there, ready and willing to lend their support
Thanks, Mandy!!
